How To Organize Your Home Fitness Gym So You Save Time, Space, And Money!

Although it may seem daunting at first, setting up and organizing home fitness gyms does not have to be difficult.

The reason most people have trouble putting them together in a way that doesn't interfere with the rest of their house is because no thought goes into the layout.

They also don't think it's necessary to purchase equipment that will help with organization. This can be equipment such as upright exercise bikes, weight trees, or Selectech Dumbbells, which I'll discuss later.

I can tell you from experience, having an organized home fitness gym makes working out much more enjoyable. If it's cluttered, you'll never be motivated to work out. But if it's organized you'll be much more motivated and have more fun doing it!

There's just one thing to consider.

Setting up and organizing a home fitness gym is going to take money. However, when you compare it to going to a gym each month for a year or 2 - it's easy to see how inexpensive it really is.

What Equipment Will I Need To Keep It Organized?

One of the main products I recommend for great home fitness gyms consists of an upright exercise bike. These bikes take up only about 4 feet of space, last for many years, and can give you one of the best workouts you can possibly get.

Just as a reference point, here is a small comparison of upright exercise bikes to treadmills:

1. Exercise bikes are cheaper to buy and last longer than treadmills (on average). 2. They place much less stress on your knees and hips. 3. You can easily do sprints on them, while on a treadmill you may not be able to because of other physical conditions.

The other type of exercise bike you can get is called a recumbent exercise bike. These have the same concept of the upright bikes, but they allow you to lean slightly backwards and are great for those with back problems.

I recommend the Schwinn recumbent exercise bike for a high quality bike at a great price.
Another great piece of equipment you can use to organize your gym at home is weight trees and/or weight racks. Assuming you have weights, these 2 pieces of equipment can save you a lot of space by putting everything in an easy to reach, organize manner.

Weight trees are used to hold Olympic plates while weight racks can hold dozens of variations of dumbbells. If your spouse or other family member or friend works out in the same room, this is a great way to keep your things separated.

The best part is that they're relatively inexpensive. Weight trees can be bought for about brand new, and weight racks can be bought for about 0 brand new.

But that's not all!

The best part about weight trees and weight racks is that you can find them for a much cheaper price if you look in your local newspaper, paper shop, or other place where you can buy exercise equipment from other individuals.

But if you really want to save yourself a lot of time, money, and space in your home fitness gym, you'll definitely want to check out Selectech dumbbells. For just over 0 you can replace all your regular dumbbells with one single dumbbell. All you do is pick a certain weight using a dial and lift the dumbbell.

This allows you to do several things. First, you don't have to buy multiple sets of dumbbells for different exercises. Second, you won't have to buy a weight tree or a weight rack. Third, since you only have 2 dumbbells total, you're going to save a ton of space and organization will be a cinch!

Another great way to keep your gym organized is to simply think "out of the box". This means thinking of what you can do with your doorways, ceiling, floor, etc. For example, you can buy pull up bars that go in between doorways. These same bars can be used at the bottom of the doorway for pushups and/or sit-ups. You can also hang a punching bag from your ceiling, which only takes up a tiny amount of space, for an incredible cardiovascular workout.

Setting up and organizing home fitness gyms should be an easy and fun process. Before you do anything, simply get a piece of paper and map out your plans. Visualize the gym in your mind's eye, write it all down on paper, and start buying the equipment.
